In French, to have an “artichoke heart” means to fall in love easily and often: giving a leaf to everyone while keeping the heart at the centre.

I’m not a hopeless romantic. I like to think that my heart is full of love and that I want to keep sharing it, regardless of the circumstances.

The original idea for this comic came to me in English, but I felt it was a bit generic. As I’ve been learning French, the idiom “cœur d’artichaut” stuck to my brain and wouldn’t leave.
So… here it is ;)
